New Vicar Called

Teri Pilarski

Resurrection Episcopal Church of Gilbert is delighted and blessed to announce that the Reverend Terri C. Pilarski, who most recently has served as Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Dearborn, Michigan, has accepted Bishop Jennifer Reddall’s call to be our next Vicar.  This is the culmination of a 2-year long search process that members of Resurrection gratefully participated in.  Terri is an Episcopal priest who is also a trained spiritual director and a licensed clinical social worker currently affiliated with the Dearborn Pastoral Counseling Center where she coaches individuals in Bowen theory.

In her former parish, where she served for 12 years, she focused on multi-cultural communities and intercultural partnerships.  She founded and continues to serve as the Executive Director for the Intercultural Community Center where they are developing a digital library to help others form deep, lasting relationships in a multi-cultural context.

Terri has been married for thirty-eight years and has two adult kids who are her BST experiments for defining self in a nuclear family. She’s an avid knitter, a novice painter of icons, flowers and birds, a treadmill runner, podcast listener of shows that focus on brain science and contemplative practices, and the grandmother of two amazing kids.  Please keep Terri and her family in your prayers as they prepare for her to join us in Gilbert.

Thanks be to God!
