About Resurrection

At Resurrection Episcopal Church in Arizona, we seek to be a beacon of hope and strength in our local community. Our doors are open to all, and we strive to make everyone feel welcomed and accepted regardless of background, beliefs, or orientation. We believe that by creating an open and affirming environment, we can foster meaningful spiritual growth and connection.

Through our weekly services, Bible study, and special events, we aim to provide a place of love, support, and friendship that will last a lifetime. Here you will experience the power of community and faith.

Love in Service

We partner with  Free Arts of Arizona, Paz de Cristo, Step Up Schools, Feed My Starving Children, Save the Family, American Service Dog Society, Ronald McDonald House, Arizona Blankets for Kids putting love into action. We provide in-person opportunities and financial support.

Worship Opportunities

We offer a hybrid style of Episcopal worship with weekly services every Sunday at 11:00 AM -  in person and on Facebook Live. Evening Prayer is offered on Facebook Live at 6:30 on Wednesday nights. Noonday prayer and virtual lunch with the vicar is provided at noon most Thursdays via zoom. And,  a pre-recorded option is available most weeks on YouTube.

Episcopal worship typically includes hymns, prayers, and a thought-provoking reflection on the Bible readings appointed for the day from the new revised common lectionary, a resource used across mainline Christian denominations.

No doubt there is little something that will provide you a quiet respite and time for renewal.
